We are well into How-To writing. Students brainstormed things they knew how to do. This week we will work on writing what materials are needed and detailed step-by-step instructions. We will put our writing in booklets at the end of the week.

This week, we will focus on easy facts like +0 and +1 facts. We will learn about doubles facts and facts with a sum of 10. We will play fishing for 10 and domino top-it.

We will continue to discuss family traditions. We will read a Time for Kids: It’s Party Time. In science we will use a tuning fork to see sound vibrations in action. We will discuss loud and soft sounds and go on a Listening Walk outside
